Hi, my name is Bristol, for those of you concerned about titles my full name is Esmonds Ouzo Elixir, of course I intend to add a few letters to my name. ;)
I came to my home via the big bird in the sky.  It was fun watching all the harried people kiss their loved ones good bye
at the airport as we waited for our flight.  I slept through most of the plane ride, but I peaked my head out of the bag a few times so mom could take a picture of me. :)

My first week I met the other kids here.  Some of them are slow and old but the other ones like to play with me.  Mom wanted us to pose so that all of us could get in the picture.  Geesh that took some time.. well at least she got all the bug bites. he he

Cloud Callout: Whew these kids have tuckered me out!
I was privileged to go to school with mom and one of my older siblings.  We got to play with the kids at recess and visit the students in class.  I brought a lot of laughter and good feelings to all, the last week of school.

At home I was introduced to all the "other" folks at the 4-Footers Homestead.  The goats are cool, kind of big right now.  I like the little billy that mom brought home this weekend, I am almost bigger them him.  We will grow up together on the homestead.  I wonder who will grow bigger.

Text Box: Bristol's Life in Vermont
I really like it here.  I wanted to share my growth and good times with my brothers and sisters and all those that will like to follow along.  I have high hopes for the partnership between Mom and I.

Second week:
Yippee mom is home for the summer. That means I don't get to see all my new friends from school but that does mean that we can sleep in and I can take naps when ever I want.  I get to take walks in the fields with my siblings and we get to watch, and snatch a few crumbs from the chickens when they aren't looking.
My big brother joins in too.
  Until next week...
This week we went to New York to visit some friends and then we traveled to Massachusetts to visit my grandparents.  I am enjoying the air conditioner and getting used to all the sidewalks and the cars driving by.  Wow is it different from home.

Text Box: Both of these guys are named Dan, seems like they share more than just a name
Rounded Rectangular Callout: Umm What is grandpa playing?
       Happy 4th of July

Ok so now we went to Bristol, RI.  This is the town I was named after.  My Mom named me after this town because she grew up here and has wonderful memories of this place.  My mom's Aunt recently passed away and in her memory I was named.  My grandpa, Mom and I drove to Bristol and we took pictures at the famous parade route and then at Green Grass, one of my Mom's favorite childhood places.
Grandpa wanted to hold me as long as he still could
Here we are in the car on the way to Bristol.  Nevar is in the back, then Raven on the left and that's me at the bottom.

  Aren't we cute.

Is she done taking pictures yet?

On our last day we visited UMas. Dartmouth.  I found it a little hot but I carried sticks for mom and we had fun in the swamp. I found a patch of sand and I played with the old man for a while.

Here's the entire crew, (starting from the right)

I'm 4 months old now!!
I love being on top of the world here in Vermont, ok so maybe on top of the hay.  You need to start somewhere. :)  I have been going to the river to cool off and on the way we have taken many pictures.  Sometimes mom gets carried away with all this picture taking and I just sit very nice and close my eyes and think that I am in the water splashing around.
As you can see from the picture, I have my eyes closed but I am still very handsome.
I have been taking obedience classes and handling classes.  It is fun to play with the other puppies and to learn many new activities.  I am going to take agility next.  I watch my older brother and sisters a lot and learn from them, how did they get up there?
Well I am beat, a long day walking and running in the water and now I can sleep under the irises in Mom's garden.  What a life.

I'm 5 months.  Almost 6 months.. eek  Mom can't believe it. I get confused with my sister now I am so big.

Five Months

I still have some habits I can't brake.

I love to play with all my friends.   That's me playing dead and then Nevar and I beating up Raven. :)

Here's the crew.  Baxter is hidden behind the ferns. I am in the middle.

I had a real busy weekend.
Mom and I went to pick up some new goats and on the way checked out some mini donkeys.  They were so cute, one even adopted me.

First encounter (from a donkey's point of view)

    Banana checks Bristol out...
Banana gives Bristol a donkey kiss

Bristol gives Banana a puppy kiss , as Banana gives him a donkey "hug".   Banana's baby looks on from behind (looks kind of jealous, don't you think :))

Ok if Banana likes him guess we should check him out.

Then Sunday we went to Shelburne Museum.  Mom brought me to socialize while she ran CGC testing.
It was fun, I could greet all the folks (about 2,000) and tell them what a good dog I am, and they too should have a Canine Good Citizen. :)
